It acts like a mini-greenhouse, promoting accelerated vertical growth by retaining moisture and warmth, whilst completely protecting the sapling from deer, rabbits, and herbicide drift. A must-have for woodland creation.
Tubex Tree Shelters are quick and easy to install, providing effective protection for young trees during their early stages of growth. Position the shelter around the newly planted tree, ensuring the stem sits centrally, then secure firmly using a suitable support cane or stake. The shelter should be pushed slightly into the soil to reduce weed growth and improve stability. Once installed, regularly check the tree shelter and adjust as the tree grows. Proper installation helps protect against browsing animals, encourages healthy establishment and supports successful woodland and landscape planting projects.
