Give your individual trees the best start with a BioWool® Tree Mat. This pre-cut square of natural, biodegradable wool fits snugly around the base of a newly planted tree, suppressing grass and weeds that compete for water. Completely plastic-free, it breaks down naturally to feed the soil after the tree has established.

Place the BioWool® Weed Mat around the base of the plant, ensuring good contact with the soil surface to prevent weeds growing through. Secure firmly using suitable pegs or pins, particularly in exposed locations. For best results, install soon after planting and keep the area around young plants clear during establishment. The mat will gradually biodegrade, providing ongoing support as plants become established.
