Goat Willow is a fast growing native tree, recognised for its distinctive spring catkins, often known as pussy willow. Flowering early in the season, it provides an important source of nectar and pollen for bees and other insects. Goat Willow grows well in most soils, particularly damp locations, and is ideal for woodland creation, conservation projects and natural landscape planting. It also provides valuable habitat for a wide range of wildlife.
