Western Red Cedar is a fast growing evergreen conifer, valued for its dense foliage and excellent year round screening. Its rich green foliage creates an attractive, durable hedge or shelter belt, while its natural tolerance of regular trimming makes it ideal for formal planting. Growing well in most fertile, moist soils, Western Red Cedar performs best in sunny or partially shaded locations and provides valuable shelter for birds and wildlife.
Plant Western Red Cedar in well prepared, weed free ground and water regularly during prolonged dry spells until established. Suitable for hedging, screening and shelter belts, it responds well to light trimming to maintain a neat, dense shape. Avoid cutting back into old wood where possible, as regeneration may be limited. Once established, it provides reliable, low maintenance evergreen cover.
Standard delivery 5-10 working days. Charges are calculated at checkout, delivery is made via pallet network. Collection is also welcomed from St. Agnes, please select this option at checkout.
