Sitka Spruce is a fast growing evergreen tree, widely planted for forestry, timber production and shelter planting. Highly adaptable and tolerant of exposed conditions, it performs well in wetter climates and on a range of soils. Its dense green foliage provides year round shelter and valuable habitat for wildlife. Sitka Spruce is an excellent choice for large scale woodland creation and commercial forestry projects where rapid establishment is required.
