Griselinia is a versatile evergreen hedging plant, valued for its glossy apple green leaves and year round colour. Its softer, more natural growth habit makes it ideal for both formal boundaries and informal planting schemes. Highly tolerant of coastal exposure, salt spray and strong winds, it is a reliable choice for challenging sites. Griselinia performs well in sun and a range of soils, including clay and chalk, and responds well to trimming to create a dense, attractive hedge. Once established, it is a low maintenance and drought tolerant choice.
