Hornbeam is a hardy native tree, valued for its strength, dense growth and excellent performance in a wide range of conditions. Often chosen as an alternative to Beech, it thrives on heavier soils and provides reliable screening when grown as a hedge. Its green summer foliage develops attractive yellow and orange autumn tones, with many leaves retained through winter. Hornbeam is ideal for native hedgerows, woodland creation and landscape planting.
Plant Hornbeam into well prepared ground and maintain good weed control while establishing. Water during prolonged dry periods to encourage strong root development. Suitable for hedging and woodland planting, it responds well to regular trimming to maintain density. Individual trees require little maintenance once established.
Standard delivery 5-10 working days. Charges are calculated at checkout, delivery is made via pallet network. Collection is also welcomed from St. Agnes, please select this option at checkout.
