BioWool® Weed Mat Rolls offer a premium, 100% biodegradable solution for suppressing weeds in continuous hedge lines or large planting rows. Made from natural wool fibres, it blocks sunlight to kill off competing weeds while allowing water and nutrients to pass through. It naturally enriches the soil as it degrades over 3-5 years.
Lay the BioWool® Weed Mat Roll along the planting area, ensuring good contact with the soil surface to prevent weeds growing through. Cut sections to fit around individual plants where required and secure firmly using suitable pegs or pins. For best results, install shortly after planting to provide early weed suppression while plants establish. The natural fibres will gradually biodegrade, reducing maintenance requirements over time.
